Tai Pan Rocks my Socks Off

Maybe I should have posted a post before this about my unfortunate loss of a job. But, in all reality, I'm ok with it. Basically the company, the whole real estate business, is slow. So, they had to make some cuts. I was completely shocked that it was me. I have been wanting to change, but haven't actually done it. So, now I have to. A blessing in disguise....YES. I think so. Now, I just hope that I can find something better and fast. I have a possibility that I am waiting to hear back from that could be great. I'll keep you posted. I'm not going to post every interview... blah, blah, blah. No need.

In the mean time, Friday (the day I got laid off) I had planned on doing some Christmas shopping at my friend's boutique, Christy's in Highland. I wasn't about to miss out on her Christmas Boutique. So, I met my friend, Nicole, to shop and have some treats. The store is so cute. I found the perfect wood plaque that had a "Dream a New Dream" quote. How perfect? My blog name. I had to buy it!

The next day, I hung out with Jess and P. We had lunch at Cafe Rio and hit up Tai Pan. I hadn't been there in a looooong time. They had the cutest Christmas decorations and gifts. I got some great deals. I'd tell you what I got, but Christmas presents are secrets! Here are the whopping two pictures I got of the day.Going in to Tai Pan
Lame pictures. Yes. But a great day, with great company!

Good luck with your job hunt lady!! Who needs RE/MAX anyway? And can I just say how obsessed I am with Tai Pan? I seriously get lost in there because I'm in awe of all of the beautiful amazing things! And for so cheap! I need to go have myself another visit soon...
