Mandy's Baby Shower

We gave Mandy a Baby Shower on January 2nd in Ephraim.

Before the shower, Sam, Mandy, and Avrie were playing with the piggy bank we had for one of the games. Sam was letting Avrie fill it up with all his money from his wallet and pockets. She told him "You are gonna be the best dad, cause you are giving all your money to your baby!"

I love her face watching him pull out more money. Could her eyes get any bigger?

Avrie made a sign for the door that said "No boys allowed. No dad's, no boys." She made Joey go through the basement door, so he wouldn't go in the room for the girls only baby shower.

I tried to be crafty and make the fun cake lollipops. Well, I sucked and they wouldn't stay on the sticks. Only these few did. The rest were just cake balls on plates. :(

Getting ready to play some games. First we played a game where everyone started with 10 coins. We'd go around the circle and someone would say "I've never... (peed my pants)." Then everyone who had done that had to put a coin in the piggy bank, until only one person had coins left. It was really funny when someone would get embarrassed for doing certain things and had to get up and feed the pig.

I love Janeen. Something must have been hilarious!

Jax and Kort

The second game we played was "Tinkle in the Pot". We got in teams of 4 and we had to put a quarter between our knees and waddle to the "pot" and drop the coin in the jar. If you didn't make it you had to start over until your whole team had tinkled in the pot. My team won!

Present Time. Oakley was Mandy's helper. Before the presents were open she would ask "What is it?" Silly girl.

After presents, we had all sorts of fun flowers and buttons to make hair clips for Mandy's baby girl.

Oakley scored some cute clips too. Whitney was so funny and had no idea she could be so creative and make her own clips.
