National Day of Prayer - Nick Vujicic

Thursday, May 7th, 2009, was The National Day of Prayer. Luke and I went to an event at The State Capitol. Nick Vujicic was the speaker and I can't tell you how AWESOME he is. If you have never heard of him, I suggest you do a YouTube search NOW, go ahead go. Then, you need to buy his DVD and pass it on to everyone you know!!! He will be back in Utah in September. I will for sure be buying tickets for this event and suggest that everyone else does as well. Honestly, he is the most amazing person I have ever seen. I laughed so hard, I was literally in tears and doing the uncontrollable ugly laugh, from his hilarious stories of how he uses his disabilities to joke with people. Luke inside The Capitol

Nick said that Utah is like a postcard. One of those building is the one I work in:)

Happier than ever! Praise God!

Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs without any medical reason. When he was 8 years old, he tried to drown himself. Now he travels around the world and teaches people how God has used him to teach people to live through Him! Not only that, but he can swim!

It was a beautiful night! The moon was just above the mountains on the east as the sun was going down over the west mountains. Once again, it was like a postcard. The pictures don't do it justice. I am thankful to live in such a beautiful state!
I hope that if you got nothing out of this post that at least you went to Nick Vujicic's website www.lifewithoutlimbs.org. Like I said, he will be back in September for a 3 day event and I suggest you get yourself tickets.

Thank you Nick for coming to Utah and sharing your testimony and experiences to all of us. I can't wait to see you this fall!
