Colton's Junior Prom

After Shandi's shower and playing at Janeen's, we went to my brother's Junior Prom. In Mt. Pleasant prom is a big deal. The girls wear these big huge poofy dresses and the guys wear tuxes. They all get announced and walk out for everyone to see how pretty they look all dressed up. Then they learn a dance as their Junior class. Then everyone leaves and they get to dance the night away with their date. This is a 2 day event. Friday and Saturday, one night is girl's choice and one is boy's choice.Avrie and Mandy posing with the decor.

We got there early to make sure we had a good seat. Avrie had fun dancing in the middle of the dance floor while everyone arrived. She is so funny. Definitely a perfomer!

Me and Mandy

I love this picture of Avrie dancing.

Dancing with Aunt Mandy!

Colton and his girlfriend, Brook

Waiting for the show to start.

I took this picture and told Avrie to do that again, but with her eyes...
...this is what she did. haha I guess I should have said "with your eyes open". Mandy's face is so funny. We thought it was so cute that she just gazed into Mandy's eyes.

Avrie's dance partner, Ariel. They both ran around and danced in the middle of the floor until it started.

Janeen, Mom, and Mandy

Anona and Dad. My dad was supposed to work all weekend, but some drama happened and he ended up surprising Colton and coming down to show his support.

Jax and Kort

This picture says so much.

Avrie dancing with Grandma

Colton was very happy to see Dad.

Colton and his Dad, Darin

Goofballs!

Mom and Janeen

Avrie wanted to go to Mandy's house so bad. She was so upset that she couldn't go home with her.

It was really fun to see Colton at his prom. I even got to dance with him during the parent dance. Love you, Colt!
