Zion's National Park... #51 Finished

Another thing marked off My List!

#51. Visit a National Park I've never been to.

Luke and I spent last Saturday at Zion's National Park. Neither of us had ever been. It was beautiful! Once again the photos are more for me than all of you. I want to remember all of this, so bare with me.

Our first view. I love waterfalls!

Going through the tunnel. It's cool, yet creepy. Cool that someone would think of carving a tunnel through the rock; Creepy that you are driving through a hole in a giant rock mountain. Throughout the tunnel, there were holes in the wall so you could see out.

When you get out of the tunnel, there is a trail that you can hike up to a lookout. It is amazing! The next few pictures are of us hiking to the top.

If you look in the background you can see a "bridge" you have to walk over. It wasn't a big deal until I looked down through the wood cracks.

Driving down to another trail. You can see the big arch in the rock. We were on top of that!

Our next hike was the Emerald Pools Trails. At the beginning, you can see you can do a horse ride. They are crossing through the river behind us.

This rock had the prettiest colors from the water constantly falling on it.

Of course it was much more amazing in person. It was a great weekend together doing something neither of us had ever done.
