Bring on the Bridal Showers!

My mom and sisters threw me my first bridal shower in Ephraim at the Clubhouse for the apartments Ashley manages. They totally went all out and had the cutest decorations. So fun and colorful. They asked everyone to bring a recipe and the actual dish for everyone to try it. Everything was delicious. I was quite impressed. I have told everyone that I will be posting the recipes too. When I have time, I promise I will.

Before the shower I met my mom at her house and we rode together. I gave her mother's gift to her early. She has always wanted a nice wreath, but when it comes down to it she never actually buys one. So, I did it for her. I saw the perfect one. It is fall colors, but it has fruit and matches her kitchen decor perfectly. So, after autumn, she can display it year round in the kitchen. She loved it! I'm so glad! Now this is a HAPPY face!

After she hung it on the door, I think her heart almost exploded out of her chest with all that love. That's why she's holding it in so tight. haha My aunt Cami and her girls stayed at my moms the night before, so they got to see the wreath too.

Showing it off!

The drive down was beautiful! It's been a long time since I've seen the leaves this bright. We picked just the right weekend for my shower.

Mandy, Avrie and Mom getting set up and decorating.

Look how cute! I love the colors. And I LOVE the balloons tied to the pineapples!

My photo display and guest book. I designed my guest book with my own pictures and left blank pages for my guests to sign in.

Avrie and Mom. I had to get a picture of this cute wrapping job. You can't see very well but there is a little wedding bell tied in the ribbon too.

Me and my little goose, Avrie.

These are some of my favorite pictures of my Grandma Nellie. She was laughing so hard. I told her to smell the flowers and she busted up. It was so funny.

Everyone wrote me some words of advice on these cute hearts. This is one Avrie wrote her name on for me. We played a few games. How well do you know the bride, How many items in the jar, Did a drawing for whose anniversary is the closest to my wedding date, and opened gifts. I got lots of fun stuff. I can't wait to use it all! Thank you all so much! I love you!

A couple highlights while opening gifts... Avrie helped me open my presents and oooh'd and aaah'd with me. My aunt Joyce got me a big jar full of candy and Avrie got so excited. It was so cute. Then as I was putting a gift to the side, Avrie started opening the next present for me. The present I had been waiting for...Sexy lingerie from Grandma Mary and my aunt Janeen. I looked over and Avrie was giggling while pulling the sexy stuff out of the bag and holding it up for everyone. I'm so glad she stole the show and hid some of my embarrassment. I love that my grandma has done this for both my sisters and now me. It is so funny. I love it.

Erika, Adelyn, Me, and Kjerstin

My Aunts Joyce, Leisa, and Brenda all bought the same purse at different times. That's some real sister business there.

Moment of embarrassment... They blindfolded me and made me get dressed for a "date with Luke" I had to pull items out of a travel bag and get dressed, makeup and all. I don't know if it's funnier that I look like a total dork, or if it's the fact that all these items were at my moms house. I'm a little concerned, Mom.

I wish I had a better picture of the boots. They were my mom's old western boots that she would wear line dancing.

I look hot! I especially love the lipstick and blue eyeshadow.
Pretty sisters!

I had to share the lipstick. I love this picture!

Grandma Mary made us all homemade salsa. Ashley lives for this stuff!

I know I am going to get killed for posting this picture, but it is the funniest one ever. Innocent little Cami isn't so innocent anymore. This cracks me up so much. I love my family!

Avrie loved her red balloon. Red is her favorite color. She played with this one all weekend.

Chatting with Grandpa Newell when he came to pick up Grandma.

Showing off my words of advice in my guest book and on my cute hearts. I loved reading my advice and congratulations. Thank you so much everyone.

This is the cute party favor/thank you bouquet my mom made. They are cute flower suckers with Thank You's stuck on the stick. She stuck it in a bouquet of flowers. It turned out so cute. Thanks!
