Grandma Chiyo Christmas Visit

We always love our visits to Grandma Chiyo's, unfortunately they don't happen enough. And it's usually cut short. That really needs to change! This time wasn't much different. It was a quick stop, but really good to see everyone. My cousins had just got this new puppy. They named him Waylon. He's a Jack Russell/Corgi mix. He is the cutest little guy. I couldn't get enough of him.

Avrie was quite the photographer this year. She knows how to use a camera and looks around for different pictures to take. A lot of them were silly, but if you looked close you could see that she had something in mind that she wanted to have in the shot. Like Santa way off in the distance or a certain person or object. She just needs to learn the zoom (or to not be afraid to get close!)
This one was my favorite, Grandma Chiyo's nativity scene. It's in a cabinet with a mirror behind it so the flash made it look angelic. Good job, Av!

Grandma Shelley got Avrie this cute new outfit. I wanted to get a picture of it, but Avrie grabbed Grandma to be in the picture with her. She's so sweet!

My favorite picture of Grandma Chiyo! I love this. I love having pictures of us together. I love you Grandma. You are an amazing person. I have always looked up to you and have loved your support no matter what is going on. You are a great example and always make me happy. I love you!

And this one's for you Grandpa Larry. My grandpa has passed away, but he loved these bubble lights. When they warm up the yellow light bubbles kinda like a lava lamp. I saw one of these and got it for the memory of Grandpa. I love you and miss you Grandpa!

I just had to say Nicki that I love your Grandma too! She's a good lady! I have so many memories of Grandpa Larry too. Playing with Diane growing up he was always willing to take us places and bounce us on the tramp!
