Wagon Ride to See the Lights

Our plans to see the lights downtown were changed because of a big snow storm. We still wanted to see some lights, so we went to Thanksgiving Point. Since there were too many of us to fit in one car we decided to take the wagon wide. The only bad thing about it was that it was FREEEEEZING!!!

Before we left, Avrie and I went outside while Grandma Shelley was shoveling the snow. The first thing Avrie did was throw a snowball at me. She thought it was so funny. Here are some pictures to show my awesome action photography skills. hahaha

While we were waiting for the wagon, we got to check out the Farm Village.
Avrie's showing Mandy how to milk this cow.

Me and Luke bundled up by the Christmas tree.

And the ride begins. (Sam's face in every picture will show you how cold this ride really was. Sam and Luke had the worst seats on the ride. They were everyone else's wind blockers. Thanks guys.)

Snow does not do good thing to Sam.

Avrie had so much fun. She loved the lights and the horses, but when Luke told her later to say bye to the horses, she said "No, they're just horses." Ya know what? She's right. But horses have feelings too, don't they?

Like mother, like daughter.

So COLD!

Oh to be a kid again and not care about how cold it is and just be able to completely enjoy the pretty lights.

What's that...A flying gingerbread man?

They must have been telling naughty jokes.

Meet the Marshmallows

We had fun seeing the lights. If only it would have been warmer...or we knew about the enclosed trolley ride??? That would have been nice. haha We passed the trolley right at the end and were wishing we were on that bus. Next time...
