Day 1 and I Love My Job!

So, maybe I am just a newlywed at KPMG, but I love it already! Today was day one. I am so impressed with how nice everyone was! So friendly! The day went very smoothly. I think it is going to be awesome.

Best part of the day... I got a call to transfer one guy to another, and before I transferred him, I heard him say "I really like the new receptionist"! Talk about a compliment! I was overly excited.

Worst part of the day... Riding Trax home and getting "car sick". Maybe reading isn't the best idea. Not to mention, I am terrified of Trax. Mostly driving on or near the Trax. I have gotten "car sick" from riding backwards. I made sure today to face forward. I did read on the way (and at lunch) and was fine. I just started "The Last Lecture". It's really good so far. I highly recommend it. I've seen the guy on Oprah and other shows and had to buy the book.

I'm also excited that one of the Admin girls makes lunch and brings it now and then... Monday, Chicken Divan and a side Ceasar Salad. Really! And only $6!

PS Am I the only one who can't open a box of Macaroni and Cheese as directed by the blue box itself? "TO OPEN: PUSH SIDE FLAP AND TEAR BACK". Not happening. The whole top will be opened like a normal box. If you can push that little "perforated" flap (that's not even really perforated), you have some major talent. Good for you! In the meantime, I will be opening the box like a box of cereal!
